Seva Sindhu is a one-stop-shop for providing citizens with related government services and other information. It is an integrated portal, providing the community with government services that can be a very powerful tool to bridge the state’s digital divide, be it with government and citizens, government and business, government departments, etc.
The Seva service delivery center will use its own platform from the citizen to provide citizen-centric services and establishments in villages and towns with kiosk. Sevasindhu’s goal is to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, accountability, and transparency of government services. Seva Sindhu (e District) is one of the 31 MMPs to be implemented under NeGP (National e-Governance Plan) by the State Government or its designated agencies, with the Department of Information Technology (DIT), the Government of India (GoI) as the nodal agency.
The main aim of this portal is to provide cashless, faceless, and paperless government services. It is seen as a significant step in providing open, cost-effective, accountable, and transparent government services for the state government.
